The BlackBerry® UEM Client is designed to facilitate integration of Android™ devices within enterprise mobility management (EMM) frameworks such as BlackBerry UEM, BES®12, or BES®10. Upon activation, the application provides a range of security and management features intended to streamline enterprise device deployment and usage.

These features include:

• Secure access to corporate email, calendars, and contacts
• Automated configuration of enterprise policies along with Wi-Fi® and VPN settings
• Facilitation of installation for approved organizational mobile applications
• Support for dual-use scenarios under Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) policies, allowing separation of personal and business data
• Activation of Android™ for Work and Samsung Knox™ security features

Additional security enhancements and management capabilities are available for devices managed through BlackBerry UEM that have BlackBerry® Dynamics applications installed. These include:

• Secure productivity applications for document editing, sharing, intranet browsing, and more
• Integration tools such as the BlackBerry Dynamics SDK, application wrapping, and containerization for developed enterprise apps
• Secured access to commonly used enterprise applications on UEM-managed Android devices
• Comprehensive end-to-end secure connectivity solutions

Please note: Activation of the BlackBerry UEM Client requires your organization to utilize BlackBerry UEM, BES®12, or BES®10 as the EMM platform.
